This person is aware of digital trends, understands the pacing required to capture attention in the first 3 seconds, and has a strong foundation in video editing software. Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Editing: Cut, edit, and format raw footage into dynamic, high-quality short-form (and long-form) videos optimized for specific social media platforms.

  • Trend Spotting: Continuously monitor TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms to identify trending audio, formats, and editing styles, and pitch ideas on how to adapt them for our brand.

  • Asset Management: Organize and maintain video files, raw footage, and project assets to ensure a smooth post-production workflow.

  • Content Repurposing: Identify key moments in existing long-form content (like podcasts, interviews, or longer videos) and slice them into engaging, bite-sized clips.

  • Post-Production Polish: Incorporate brand assets, captions, and social-first editing techniques.

  • Creative Direction: Contribute to brainstorms and creative ideation sessions.

  • Collaboration: Work together with the intern team on a summer-long capstone project that simulates agency life and creative project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar editing platforms

  • Understanding of content trends across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

  • Ability to communicate effectively via email, Slack, text, and video call.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.

  • Strong creative instincts with a desire to grow as a digital storyteller.
